My dad just got HD programming on his TV at his house and has a PVR to record shows. Is there any way to get the HD shows onto my computer from the PVR in the Origional Hi-Def Quality? I have the space to hold em, I just want to know how to get them on to my Hard Drive without a loss in quality.

someone said to use a tv capture card, and i have one already, but it seems like there is an extreme loss in quality when i use it. If theres anyway to get the file directly from the pvr that would be nice. I was looking at the back of the pvr yesterday and found a usb plugin, i didnt look at the manual to know what its for, but maybe it would help someway
