I purchased a Digital Photo Program from AnvSoft to download my photos on to a CD-RW (not DVD as I do not have a DVD Burner)) and to show them on my TV. The photos when shown on the TV are of poor quality. From what I can tell all of my settings are correct.
Can anyone recommend a program that will give me sharp photos from my CD-RW when show on my TV? AnvSoft Support has not been of any help. The photos when viewed on my PC are excellent but not so on the TV.

If you don't have a HDTV, the pictures are not going to show up very well. The old analog TVs have a resolution of less than 640x480.

The only thing that I can think of would be that 'maybe' it looks better on your monitor because the screen is significantly smaller than the TV. As the size of the screen gets larger the picture has to be stretched to fit the screen and it will not look as sharp.
I don't know what resolution your camera is recording at, but maybe you could try increasing it (if that's possible).

It took a while, Irene. But it dawned on me that you might not be using the HDMI input to your TV. If you aren't, then you probably will not be getting a high definition version of your pictures.
I don't have a HDTV, so I don't have any experience in this area.

The fact that you are burning CD's to be played by a DVD player may be a factor in your poor results. Have you tried playing your CD's on another DVD player? Does your player supports HDMI playback? Does your recorder and software support HDMI recording?
