I'm using Nero 7. I want to have each album's tracks under a folder name when burned to CD, so my car cd player can show the list of folders (album titles) and not have to scroll through all the track titles.
Even though I select the folder where the MP3s are stored, Nero refuses to put the folder name in the compilation and doesn't burn the tracks into a folder on the CD.
I know this is done fairly commonly, but Nero sure doesn't spell it out - that I've found. Suggestions?
Thanks!

My car CD player cannot play .mp3 format but plays .cda (.wav).
But my home DVD player can play the .mp3 format so I burn my folders of .mp3 files to CD as a Data CD.
Insert that CD into my home DVD player and it sees the folders just as I had burned the Data CD.So, assuming your Car's CD player can also recognize and play the .mp3 format then simply burn your CD as a Data CD and not as a Music CD.
Naturally, at ~5mb per song a single 700mb CD can hold ~140 .mp3 songs versus 14 50mb songs in .cda (.wav) format as a music CD. Music CDs have no folder structure.

Note: When you select .mp3 format files on your PC and select to burn a Music CD then the burning application automatically encodes the .mp3 format into the .cda (.wav) format.

Thanks Bryan,
Yes, to get the stored/ripped files that are IN MP3 format to burn to a CD IN MP3 format, I have to choose "create an MP3 CD". Otherwise, as you say, it just converts them back to CDA when it burns them.
I'll try the creating a data CD. I've not used this car cd/mp3 player yet. It's a gift for wife. Don't doubt your advice, but it seems odd that the burning software and/or player mfgs would not recognize / display folder names when creating a music CD for MP3.

A proper MP3 "Music CD" must adhere to a strict format (e.g. no folders). As shown above, some devices can read and play MP3's burned as a "Data CD".
