DVD shrink and DVD decryptor both seem to take me about and hour in a half to rip the dvd and another 30 mins to an hour to burn. I haven't rip a movie into an iso file yet and was curious ,if an iso file burns faster or does it just depend on how fast your dvd burner is and if anyone has a link or knows of any codecs for on the fly ripping send me an email.

The speed of the rip depends more on the speed of your computer than the program. DVD Decript and Shrink are pretty good.

Nero recode is a little faster but there is no decrypt.

Video work takes a lot of time and proccessor speed. The time you mention is not bad given the speed of your machine and you won't find much improvement in time with another program. If you really want faster then you will have to upgrade to a bigger proccessor.
