I've downloaded a video clip from the internet. It plays in the center of the screen about the size of a postage stamp.When I expand it, it becomes grainy and virtually unreconizable. Does anybody know to clean up the image-setting or possible program . I running Windows XP Media Center Edition.

And there he was....gone

that is probably the resolution of video, blowing it up will simply amplify the distortion as well - look for a higher resolution download

If you think it is not the problem then try to play it in a different player that does not rely on the windows codecs - real plyer or video lan client for example

Yes, it was recorded at a very low resolution/quality and there isn't any thing you can do about it.
