Hi,
I am really not sure if this is the place to post this message, but this forum has always proved to be more useful to me than all others.

I would like you guys to please take a look at these cars:
http://www.sarosh.8m.com/images/cards/
and if possible kindly give me an estimate about how much would someone pay a designer in the USA to create these cards.

I have been working for a friend for some months now, and I want to get an estimate about how much a fair price for such kind of design work should fetch me.
Please note that I am only desinging, I am not offering any printing services at all.

Not sure if this is a the right place to post this, but if someone can give me their opinions, I will highly appreciate your opinions, whether positive or negetive.
Thanks,
Sarosh.

Hi--
I'm a professional designer, and I can tell you many printing houses will offer this service for free. The designs are very similar, i.e. the content is the same with a background change. It's hard to charge for each as a seperate design, when they're really just a tweak on the original. Figure 20$ per design, at 2 total designs= 40$ total.

Thanks a lot,
Do you know any design companies I can work for? Would you personally require such services?
Thanks,
Sarosh.

Hi,
I have an website, but it is not really well kept.
http://www.sarosh.8m.com

I have done way more work than is put up on the website and have actually not got time to update it anyawy.
Anyway, my current employer is quite happy and wants to hire me on a more permanant basis. So that is good news.
If you are still interested I can upload all jpegs of my files on my website.
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Sarosh.

It's not a question of if I'm interested. It's wether or not you're interested enough to keep a current website/portfolio. As I said, I'm a designer, so I have no need for your services. I'm just saying the best way to get more work is to shop your portfolio.

Good luck.

Hi Joe,
Thanks a lot.
I actually already landed some sort of agreement where I get paid on a monthly basis. So as long as that goes it will be good. If I need to I will update my website and market my self.
Thanks very much for taking the time to reply and all the best to you too.
Sarosh.
