Hi all!
This is a question from someone who knows nothing about DVD-Roms.I built a computer with a new M/B and spare parts,it has Win/Xp/Home installed now. I used a CD-RW and DVD-ROM from a HP comp.I understood that you could play DVD's with XP-Software.If I put a dvd in the drive it says something about Media player (10) does not have the necessary Codec's ?.Am I missing something that i need to install. The CD-RW seems to work with XP's installed recording software O.K.Any help appreciated.....
Completely confused-Lencojo

Thanks for the Reply & Info,
I downloaded and installed the codecs but now I get a message that I don't have a compatable DVD Decoder.I guess I need something else??Do I need something like "Easy CD Creater"?
Thanks for the Help.
