DVD Shrink problem

for some reason, it never seems to show i have 4.7G available, only 4464MB. do i just let nero do overburn to 4.65 or something? wondering what the magical number is without wastin a bunch of discs. thanks in advance.

4464 is normal for dvd shrink.

For reasons I won't go into, you can't actually get 4.7 gig on a 4.7 disk.

It also has a lot to do with the way each program used counts the bits and bytes. You will notice that disk size varies from program to program.

But rest assured that in the end, one program will get the same amount on a disk as the next regardless of the noted size differences.
