DVD not recognized

I have 4 computers & can play home made DVD videos on three of them, but one keeps saying to (insert a disk in drive d:). It plays all music,game dvd's & installs stuff of of them. Am I missing a service or what to have it recognize the disk? I've started all services that the other computers have running.Thank you.
