I have stored 5000 still jpeg images on one CD-R, all in one root file. But now i can't find a dvd player that will display them all as a slide show. Does anyone know of a dvd player that will dipslay 5000 jpegs?

I don't know of any Set-top player that will natively handle a disc of images saved as a data disc. You should look into getting a DVD SlideShow Program which will create a "DVD Movie" that is in the format of a slide show. There are many out there - most with free trials.

Both of my home theater DVD players will play up to 99 images from a data CD containing jpg images in a slide show.

With regards to what MichaelJ has mentioned; Windows XP sp2 (Genuine) has MS PhotoStory 3 in it or can be downloaded for free from MS. It is pretty good at making a slide show of images into a movie be it .wmv or even .avi format if you like. It adds some prety good effects that take the bordom out of viewing pictures.

I have created DVDs using this program. It is a really good freebie from MS. It allows you to add .mp3 music to the file too.

MS PhotoStory 3

I do not know it's image quantity limits but I do know that I also have PhotoStory 2 which is limited to 99 images so I use PS3 when using more than 99.
