Hello All,
I have a DVDROM 1 0X [CD-ROM drive], and i can't play DVD's in it anymore. I had a tech work on it a while ago, and now i can't watch any DVD's. I think I need a Decoder, but I'm not sure. Any one know where I can get a free one or update for my drive..? Thanks.
Eric

I don't have any free options for you. However considering the speed of your cd-rom, I would suggest that you consider replacing it. For about $40-$60 you could have a new DVD-RW drive. Which would also give you the ability to burn cd's and DVD's. Most new drives (not OEM versions) also come with DVD Player software and burning software.
