HI there

Sorry if I'm in the wrong category but, I need to print out a new dvd cover to put in a dvd case although I do not know the measurements as yet as I am away from home - anyone help please?

Thanks!

The exact size will be determined by the case itself. They are all pretty close, but not exactly the same.

For width, you should make it the maximum the printer can do on a 8-1/2 x 11 sheeet of paper. For most pritners this is usually around 10-1/2 inches (.25" margins). With the cases I curently use this is just a little shorter than I would like the cover to be, but it is acceptable. the alternative is to use 8-1/2 x 14 paper and it's just not that short to worry about.

As for height, I'm not really sure. However, if you downloaded a cover from a cover site, such as cdcover.cc, then you can just maximize the cover for an 8-1/2 x 11 page on your printer and it should fit fine. That is if the program you are using to print gives you that functionality.
