I'm not great with computers and I'm unable to burn DVD's so that they play on a DVD player. I've been using DivX so far and they work on other computers but not in my DVD player. I just want to be able to make copies of my bought DVD's and burn downloads.

What software do I need?
Is there any freeware I can use?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

One of the easiest programs to do this is DVD Santa. It will do copies of store bought DVD and convert the DivX format to the proper DVD format. http://www.dvdsanta.com/
