I can no longer get my DVD writer to finish burning a DVD disc. It is a USB 2.0 External LG GSA-4167B 16X Super Multi-DVD/CD Drive Rewriter. I always get a "burn failed" message from Nero 6 and the log always shows the reason for failure is due to a reset. I don't even know what that means. I've adjusted every setting I could think of in Nero and in the properties of the drive. It doesn't matter what speed I try to write at, it always fails. The DVD writer that came with the computer still writes with no problem but it is slow, only 2.4X on 8X media so I don't think the problem is with Nero. That's why I got the USB writer so it wouldn't take forever to burn a DVD. I'd appreciate any suggestions on what else I could do to make the LG writer work.
