Hi, I will firstly admit i am trying to do this without actually purchasing software.

Problem.

I have a video file created using premeire 6.0.

I have used Any video converter to change it to MPEG-2(DVD standard?).

next i found IMGBurn that stated can create DVD but when i select the file it states not compatable. Any video converter does not do ISO but I thought MPEG was the DVD standard.

can anyone please suggest a link to explain the process or if you have time take me through the process.

PS if i have to i will purchase software.

thanks, great forum

cris

ps i also used video DVD maker free v3.16 but that did not work

First. you are correct. The DVD format is actually VOB, which is more or less the same as the MPEG2 format. But 'most' DVD creators will convert from the other formats to the VOB/MPEG2 format. So you 'usually' don't have to do the conversion ahead of time.

From what I saw, IMGburn does not accept MPEG files.

I don't know why 'DVD maker free' didn't work.

If you have Nero with 'Nero vision', it does a fine job of creating DVDs. I prefer it over the other DVD creators that I have tried.

I use wondershare video to DVD burner instead of nero, it provides a series of features to make a highly customized DVD. like dvd menu, video transition effects, special video effects, customize logo, and other video editing features.
You can download it here
