When viewing digital photos on my monitor the photos do not fill the screen. There is quite large empty space between photo & top of screen...same on the bottom. Just bought Lumix DMC-FZ28 & loaded 1st set of pictures into my PC. These do not fill the screen no do those that were taken with my previous camera (also Lumix). Prior to now the photos always filled the entire screen.

Photos go into My Pictures right from the camera. I go into View as a Slide Show under Picture Tasks the slide show starts but photos are not full screen. When I want to edit my photos before putting on DVD I use Nero.
Are there any settings I might change to have the Slide Show be full screen?

The issue is not software related, it's because your new camera has a wider aspect ratio then your old camera and the monitor you are viewing it on. In order to see the whole picture, you get blank space at the top and bottom. If it were to fill the whole screen, it would have to zoom in slightly and it would crop the left and right side of the picture. If you were to view the pics on a wide screen monitor you would not have the blank spaces.
