USB cameras not recognized.
I have 2 digital cameras that I cannot get the pictures of. They use to. When I plugged in the cameras, the new drive would be created and I could copy the pictures to my hard drive. For some reason that doesn't work anymore.
Here's what I've done so far to fix it:
Uninstalled and reinstalled camera drivers.
Uninstalled and reinstalled all USB devices installed in the Device manager .
Tried to access them by right-clicking on My Computer, then manage, then Disk Management.
Switched around USB cables and trying different ports.
Nothing works. The ports and cables are working because I'ved tried my printers and webcam.
I have two cameras. Both older models. My main one is a Polaroid PDC 2030. It use to work. My second camera is a Logitech ClickSmart 310. Never tried it on this computer until now. The drive to access the picture will not appear but I can use the ClickSmart as a webcam.
But I cannot get pictures off of either. So what files/services/reg entries can I fool around with to try and fix this thing.
I have a P4, 128 MB RAM, WinXP Pro.
