digital camera problem

i have a kodak easyshare c340 digital camera. have this problem, pictures come out fine but when i transfer videos to my pc, they are too dark. have tried making the videos in mornings for extra light to no avail.
does anyone please know how i can sort this out? or is there some sort of free video editing software i can download to edit the videos colour afterwards?

I use both Irfanview and Photo Filtre to touch up pics. Both are free too and work extremely well. I think Irfanview would be more beneficial for your needs though; as far as brightness issues go.

try picasa from google. It's free and works excellent. I even use it for professional touchups in my photography. Let me know what you think.

First thing I'd do is make sure my monitor is calibrated. There are several free calibration programs available. Nokia has a great one. I had a problem similar to this: I'd send photos to a friend and he's say they were all too dark. After calibrating his monitor, which was set way too dark, problem solved!
