i deleted some pics and already ran ccleaner and emptied trash how do i get them back, i thought they would still be on picasa but when you erase them from my pics file it takes them from picasa to , i didnt know that picasa doesnt really store them and i was trying to clean my computer and figured they would still be on picasa , help please they were xmas pictures and my wife is pissed

If you've continued to use the computer since deleting the photos, I'm afraid you have little chance of recovery.

Please let us know if you found someone's advice to be helpful.

Try file scavenger and see if your pics are still on your HD (which I know they probably are,) as I've retreived 2500 pics off of a hard drive that was reformatted with a new installation of XP:

If you see the pics, buying the prog will get them all back for you.
I tried GetDataBack and many others....Scavenger is the only one I found that worked really well and gave you the actual names of the pics, unlike the other progs.

dude i ran that program and omg it would take me six weeks to look thru those file lol but there they are ........thx not enough patience but the help was appreciated

I made a terrible mistake once and almost lost my kids baby pictures for good. I used some recovery software which saved almost everything.
