I have an image but its corrupt. I can see it fine in the thumbnail, but when I open it in any software (Adobe CS, Image Ready, Corel, Win Pic Viewer, ACDSee), it shows only the top portion saying data is corrupt.
The image is quite important, and I need to read the numbers from it, is it in any way possible to recover the file? or to enlarge the thumbnail showed by windows to a maximum possible limit somwhow so that I can read the image?
I think the data is there frmo which the thumbnail is generated, but the s/w dont try to read it at all.
Please help.

if it's only 1 file and you think you may have deleted it you may want to try the demo version of file scavenger. You can find it here:
http://www.quetek.com/prod02.htm
I think you are allowed a few recoveries on the demo version.
goodluckHopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

Maybe not much help here, I'm afraid.... but have you tried Irfanview as your viewer?
It might be worth a shot if you haven't tried it yet.
It's a phenominal viewer with countless features. I use it quite a bit and like it a lot.Good luck...
