ConvertXtoDVD issue.

I have been using ConvertXtoDVD for the last few years with much success. Lately I have been converting mp4 files from (legal and legitimate) blu-ray sources. I find that ConvertX compresses the source file too much. For example, if I convert a 4gb mp4 file, I end up with the final DVD being around 2gb. I've adjusted all settings for optimum quality. I realize ConvertX is meant for Xvid/Divx files but it does accept mp4's. I just don't understand why it won't maintain the high quality of the file. I find that the dark portions of the picture leave artifacts that aren't visible when I view the files on my computer via VLC or Win Media Player. Is there another program I should be using or am i doing something wrong within ConvertX?

Try super or Format factory

A thank you would be nice, if I have helped.
