Hi Everybody, I downloaded a file from the net, the size is 638megs. I tried to convert it using nero, it came back the file is to big. I don't understand how this file could be to large.
Can someone help me convert over from iso and dump it to a cd.

I'm not sure what you mean by "convert"??
You don't convert an ISO, you just burn it. An ISO is like a compressed but complete CD that you can send through wires... no converting needs to be done... just direct NERO to burn it.

Thanks Blackbill, poor choice of words by me. What you posted is what I wanted to do, burn it to cd. I will give it another try. Never did it before and thought it was a "piece of cake", as they say.

Hello Blackbill, All nero did was copy the iso file to cd in the form of the iso it was copying. It cloned what was on the hd. Thought this was an easy process, but turning into a project.

It sounds like you are using a "copy data" command. Nero has a special section dedicated for burning image (ISO) files.
If you go to nero EXPRESS MENU there will be a selection near the bottom called:
"Disk image or saved project"
Choose this option, then load the disk image (ISO) you want to burn.

Frank, Thank you for posting the query and thanks to Bill for the answer. I was doing exactly the same as Frank with Nero and this solved my problem.
