i am having trouble finding a decent m2ts to dvd or mpg converter. anyone know of one that doesnt make the people in the vid that move or speak have wavy lines all around them?

I don't have any experience with M2TS, but I just did a test. I converted a music FLV video to M2TS and then converted the M2TS to MPEG1 using 'Total Video Converter'. The MPG version looked just fine.

I used 'Total Video Converter' for all the converting.
