Is there a way to connect a cassette player to my computer? I would like to copy all my old cassettes and burn them to a CD.

The cheapest and easiest way would be to buy a Y cord....2 rca plugs (males if you want to run a longer cable or females if you can get one of the length you need) to a mini stereo plug. Just plug an RCA stereo cord from the stereo outputs of your house cassette deck and plug the mini stereo jack into your sound card.

I use Goldwave, I think it still has a demo version that will let you record and edit on your PC.
There may also be some free ones out there, but Goldwave used to be a fully functional version for 30 day trial.

Good luck

Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks
