Capture problem

Specs: Windows XP, 5600+ amd 2GB
Could anyone suggest why when capturing a vhs to dvd using UleadStudio SE after exactly 82.8 mb i get a message box saying" unexpected error unexpected error unspecified error" I have to click ok and restart capture.Duriong this time the vhs tape is still running so I am missing parts whilst it resets.I now have 4 blocks of capture each 82.8mb.The drive on PC has 221gb free.Any help would be appreciated

sounds like you are using Fat32 which has limitations. You may consider changing your drive to NTFS:

I have two drives on this computer and both are NTFS

hmmmm....you may need a different capturing software by the
sounds of it.

hi
having been messed about with ulead 'se' (read lite versions) for sometime i would suggest moving to another software capture prog or at least using version 11, their last of this series this i know works.
It seems there very little support for these older progs
ulead is now Corel.

the best way of vhs to dvd is use a standalone vhs dvdr recorder.
