I have realised that I can't use cd/rw discs for use on my computer and that I have to use cd/r discs which is unfortunate as I thought that I would be able to start again if I made a poor recording using a cd/rw blank. Thank you all in advance to all replies Paul

you could actually set up the CDR to record a track and don't finalize it. You could use that over and over till you fill the CD. I kind've remember that my cdrw would record music for playback on the PC.
Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks
