Several months ago I used to have a picture as a background. All of a sudden it disappeared and I got a solid blue background.
When I go into I cannot access a background, only colors. I also tried to go into My Pictures and set a picture as the background but that did not work.
Does anyone know what the problem could be?

I'm not sure about Windows ME, but previous versions of Windows required that the image be a bitmap (.bmp) JPGs or other image formats wouldn't work. I know that XP will use Jpg's So, I would see if you can use a bmp first.
