I am wanting to use better colors within Paint Shop Pro and was wondering where I could get them.....like gold(not yellow) and silver. I am used to working with this program but now feel the need to get some better type of images happening. Does anyone know about this?

Uh...what?! There is no "gold" color. There are litterally millions of colors that you computer can display and PaintShopPro can use any of them.
You can shoose any SOLID color you feel resembles gold. But I think the problem you are facing is that you want a "shiny" color. That is more of an effect than a color. When you look at a computer image of something shiny it is not a solid color it is made up of many different colored pixels to simulate the "shinyness".
Look at this picture in PSP and magnify it so you can see the individual pixels: http://www.funkiz.com/gfx/gold-bar.jpg
To create such an image is very complex as the "shiny" aspect has to take into account directional ligting and the shape and angle of surfaces. You might have some luck using some of the more advanced features (read harder to learn and use) such as filters and such.

Yep you hit the nail on the head....thanks. OK now I understand that there are limitations. My version of PSP is old too so it may not be capable. Thanks again!
