ok im in need of helpnew sony hanycam camcorder model number dcr-hc52 it takes mini tapes so now my question is how can i hook up my camcorder to my computer and transfer the video to a cd? ive read my manual and it says my computer needs the red white and yellow audio jacks i dont have that whats another option without having to pay someone lots of money to do it for me

According to the specs, that camera has a i.LINK port, better know as a 1394 Firewire port. The FireWire (aka 1394) card is a better way to go. It will give you better quality and you won't have to play back the movie at real time speed to capture it on your computer.
