Hello All,
So soon, I am gonna get raw video footage of my wedding and I want to convert it to DVD. (The videographer made VCDs of really bad quality)
I was wondering if anybody could suggest me programs (preferably freewares or fully functional demos) for every step in this work.

By raw video footage, do you mean analog video convert it into digital for the computer. Then a program to edit and burn to DVD. If you are serious about your wedding video, I would suggest you buy good software such as Nero to do the job.

oops... Should have said, if it's analog video you'll need a card or device to convert it into digital.

I am going to get the video tape which I can put in camcorder and extract the video.
So far what I have done is, extract/import video using iMovie, convert them to MOV and then make it to DivX using some fully functional demo (So encode all duringt his working demo period) Never really converted to DVD so I am not too sure how to do it.
The picture quality I have got so far is quite nice, I don't have any complaints but I am not too sure if other video encoders etc can give me 'better' results.
Summary: I converted a kvcd file to CD video and now need an application to convert it to DVD. I tried ImTOO but it leaves text on the picture, got any others? ...
Summary: I'd prefer using Aimersoft DVD Creator to convert and burn video to DVD, my friends recommend it to me, it works really nice http://www.aimersoft.com/dvd-creato... ...
