VHS VCR to PC TV-card.
VCR has - 2 scarts (f), 2 antennas In (f) & Out (m), 2 RCAs.
PC TVCard:
FM - Antenna
TV Cable (Antenna)
Audio Out
AV - In (f)
S-VHS - In(f)
Remote - In
So, the Card works good, capture too, but where to connect my VCR? to AV or S-VHS,
and what cable(s) do I need?
(scart (which one (there are 2 on VCR) to S-VHS or anntena looks alike AV on pc tv card) or ...
I tried to capture video (VHS) with connecting VCR antenna out to TV Cable but no works.
System is PAL-B.Thanks.

The simplest way should be the VCR Aerial out (sometimes called RF - Radio Frequency) to the Aerial in (RF in) of the tv card - it is just then a matter of tuning in the card the the correct frequency. In the same way you tune a tv into the video. Get this working then try the others. You do get the lowest resolution this way but then again VHS is half TV resolution anyway

Yes, yes, I tried :( but with no results.
Why? I do not know?!Today, I bought scart (it has switch In/Out)with 3 RCAs :) and 1 S-VHS. Well, yes, finally it starts to work. But(!) better video results is with antenna (coax) then - S-VHS?
Careful (antenna is connected to composite plugin on card), and sound brings directly from vcr to audio card in-line.
So, stuff works. But now - What the software? Tried with virtualdub 1.16 but seems that there exists some trivial bugs in 'capture' option... but we'll see, yet.
WinTV can't start missing hcwChan.dll and other hcw*.dlls, ulead's factory and studios, NeroVision... well, still searching.
I need now some capturer with video compressor because I have no big enough hdd with -hm- 'steps' about 1GB per minute..Thnx and bye.
