Specs: Windows 7
Okey, so im having this problem with a video file that i have recently burned on to a dvd disc because i was going to formate my computer. But after the formation was complete and I was going to play the file on the computer again i wasnt able to play it. The file shows itself on the disc woth aprox 50 mb, and according to the previous size this matched, but even though this seems reasonable it wount playback on the computer. Im really upset because this video particularly was one of the best short movies i have ever made, and I would really like to watch it again!
I really hope that some of you guys out there know a way to solve this BIG problem for me...

Have you reinstalled all your codecs?

Do you get any error messages when you try to play the video?

What burning software did you use?

What is the file extension of the video file?

Answer these questions and hopefully we'll be able to sort it for you.

Please let us know if you found someone's advice to be helpful.

sorry for late answer but i just retrived the disc and tried again.
Im getting on the disc and then to the file, but when i try to open it the computer will not react and suddenly the program that is meant to play it crashes.
I reinstalled all the codecs when i reinstalled VLC, so this should not be the problem.
I used the burning software that comes with the ordinary macbook, but my mac wount detect the disc when i put it in.
The file is an M4V video file.
Also when I try to copy it an error message appears saying Invalid MS-DOS-function, whatever that means.

Thank you for your time, and again, im sorry for the late answer!
