i have a sony handy cam and i want to burn part of my videos to a DVD.pls advise

capture the video with say, windows movie maker.

Then search for wmv to dvd converter. eg Super

There are probably better ways to do it, but you can start
googling from that.

Most camera or camcorder supports memory card, so that maybe you could take out the card and use card reader to transfer videos to your computer first and then use Video to DVD software to burn DVD.

If you capture videos to Windows Movie Maker, make sure your handy cam has been correctly connect to computer, usually use 1394 or USB cable.
