Best photo recovery software

Specs: Windows Vista
Is there a photo recovery CD that has a reputation of being the best?

I’m looking to retrieve from a memory card and looking to go back 2 years. I’m not sure this is possible but hopefully there is software out there that can get close.

Let's say that the most amount of images you have ever had on that memory card was 301 and the picture you are after is #301 then it is still there.

If it was #1 of 50 and since then you have removed it and took another picture then it has been overwritten and not recoverable.

Thanks for feedback.

I just ran the free version of Recuva and it recovered approximately 50 photo's. These were spread out from 2009-2011.

I didn't to get some of the ones I really wanted.

What do you reckon the chances are that if I buy the full version or another package that it would retrieve say another 100 photo's?

you can try file scavenger trial to see how many pics can be recovered, then if it's worth it you may want to get it. I used it a few times on some clients PC's and recovered tons of pics. The choice is yours if you wanna spend money getting your pics.

Some HELP in posting on plus free progs and instructions Cheers
