Having trouble with audio/video synchronization from internal Auvitek ATSC and NTSC Capture Device. It has a massive frame drop out rate. Skipping really bad and audio is out of sync about 2 sec. Minimum cpu requirements are 600mhz I have 1 ghz. When I watch analog cable tv the a/v are out of sync with minimal skip. But as I watch the same thing on my tv I notice that my computer is a split sec faster in video and the audio is before the video. So I hear what is said way before it is spoken on tv. As far as recording it might sound like the audio drops till sounds like in slow motion. Even no sound at all. I use BlazeVideo HDTV Player 2.5 that came with the tuner as a bundle. My goal is to convert vhs tapes to dvd.

That's interesting! I had the same problem a while back. I purchased a new ATSC and NTSC TV tuner card and had all kinds of audio/video sync problems. I never did find a solution. I finally gave up and went back to my 'very old' Hauppauge tuner card. I can't record HD but the SDTV works perfect.
