How much space do I need for Photoshop to run smoothly? My computer has about 20G space, but very often I got a "temporary folder/drive is full"

How do I correct this problem!!

If you have 20gb of 'free' space on the operating System drive, the error message doesn't make sense.

There are two temporary folders.
1. c:\documents and settings\your user name\local settings\temp
2. c:\windows\temp
Try deleting all the files in them.

Try emptying your Recycle Bin.
