I want to know experts recommendation on buying 32" LCD monitor for my computer. how the resolution will be? is it good idea to have large screen for PC?
if yes is Hitachi is better than LG ? in term of picture sharpness and quality ? any other recommendations ?

It depends on what you need the monitor for. If you plan on sitting back and watching tv from your pc. or playing games at a distance, then 32" is great. But for normal computer work, your eyes are not that far away from the screen, and 32" will give neck strain from moving your head all over, in attempt to gain the entire view of the screen.
For normal computer work you want a screen big enough so that you don't have to strain your eyes trying to see, but small enough so that you can take in the entire screen with eye movement only. For most people this about 17 to 20 inches.
The quality due to the resolution increase will depend what you are looking at. If you are talking about photos and such, then expect a serious downgrade in quality.... that large a resolution at about 24" away (average computer user distance) is going to make your photos look pretty bad. I went from a 17 to a 20 and even with that, i noticed a slight difference.
