Hi all,

I'm looking for a better audio experience from my Xbox 360 & wondering if it's possible to have the audio playing through my PC's speakers via an optical out cable?

I'm not sure how this could be done or configured, does anyone have any experience in doing this?

I've had a look at upgrading to the Creative Soundblaster X-Fi platinum soundcard which does have an optical out port on the front bay, would it be as simple as plugging an optical cable straight from the 360 into an optical out port on the soundcard/front bay?

Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

Stuart

You would have to plug the output from the Xbox to an 'input' jack on the PC. I doubt that any PCs have optical input.

Buy a Cable with seperate outputs, like:

Plug this into an amplifier/hifi system or such like..
