I found an old laptop XP at home and it has a Windows
XP setup disk so I put it in booted from it (there were 0
files on the laptop.) So I clicked on Install XP chose my
Hard Drive and I said the disk can not be formatted.
PLEASE HELP

Try cute partition manager. Free and works. Partition and format. Set drive as active all in 1 shot. D/l on another comp. Run the exe to create a bootable disk. G/l.
