Comment:

i recently got a crap load of digital music, but i have two new problems with my WMP.

1. When ever i hit "Find Album Info" for a set of songs that don't have info, it takes FOREVER to start the process and to finish it, when just a couple days ago it was a quick mundane thing i took for granted.

2. Is there a way to manually add songs to your Library? i ask because some albums i add take a while to be recognized in the library when i need to access them from WMP immediately. i move the folders to the My Music folder, which it's monitoring, but it still takes a very long time.

Thanks!

highlight the songs you want to play and then right click on them. It should give you the option to "add to windows media player list" and/or "play with windows media player"

This should add them to tne library.

Also, on the library tab at the top, if you choose the arrow at the bottom (providing you are using the basic skin) there is an option there to add media to the library.
