Hi, I'm having trouble finding a free video converter for MPG files to WMV as output. All of the ones I download are shareware and only trials, so they convert the videos in thumbnail resolution and for 50% of the entire video... Do I really have to pay if I want to convert these files?

Have you tried Windows Media Encoder? It should be able to convert your files. Download it here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/9series/encoder/default.aspx
