Hello.
I have a Radeon Video Card with an S-Video input and a Cyber Home DVD player with an S-Video input. I wish to connect the two with an S-Video cable. I do not know if this is possible- so if it is not- let me know.
If it is possible please tell me how it is? I have simply connected the S-Video cable to the vid card and then to the DVD player. But I am sure I am missing something else in the settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I doubt the s-video on the player is an input. What would be the point of that? Also make sure the video card's s-video is an input and not an output.

Now on to the problem. You never stated what your problem is.

I don't weather they are inputs or outputs on the player or card.
The problem is that I don't know how to transfer the image from the DVD player though the card to my mointor on my computer. So if you could give me a walk though or something...
Thanks

Ok you will need to know if the s-video connection on your video card is an input or an output. If it is an input you're in luck. Run the cable between your DVD and card. Now the video card should have come with some sort of video capturing software. Run the software and follow the instructions.
