UN40C6300 Samsung TV having DNLA problems

Specs: Windows Vista, Phenom 8550 2.20GHz
I love my Samsung TV, but since I connected a DNS0323 with WD 2GB drive, I;ve been having issues.
Whereas it used to beautifully stream media (using Serviio 0.6) from my netbook and desktop via Wireless LAN, when I added the NAS (hooked to router via RJ-45), nothing seems to work right.
Things will load slowly from ANY device (either computers via wireles dlna on Serviio, or hardwired NAS direct to internal media player on TV), and when they do finally start to play, after a few minutes, the playback stops, and I get a message that Network has been disconnected! The TV is also WIRED to router, not WiFi dongled, so it can't be the case.
Also, there used to be a function, where I could press the blue "D" button and restart a file from its last played position. Now, that option is gone.
I did not update or muck about in any way with the TV firmware...it just stopped being there.
HELP me get my media performance back!!!!

Have 2 TVs, one is a Sharp with Apple TV working of Wireless router and all works fine at lesser download strength as it is further away from the router.
The other a new Samsung 6500 with Smart everything. The built in receiver stops streaming every 15 to 30 seconds on bad days and works fine on others. This TV is closer to the router. Can anyone explain?
