TV Tuner MCE Registry Tweak?

I own this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815260020) TV Tuner. It says it is indeed MCE compatible, and Microsoft says it too. It won't detect it, and I saw on one review:

"I was on the verge of returning it when I stumbled across an obscure article about a registry hack to allow MCE to recognize some TV cards. I gave it a shot and it worked. The lack of documentation and assistance on the web site were a bit of a bummer."

What is that registry tweak?
