Solved TV shuts down for no reason.

Specs: Macintosh
There is a short message across the top of the screen for a second and the TV shuts down. I think the message says something about power. The rest of the TV's in the house do not have this problem. Only the Toshiba. I just bought it a week ago.

If it's a week old, than it's still under warranty. Take it back and get it replaced.

Hi Slip,

Did you try connecting to a different power outlet?

Please let me know the model of the television.

Also, try capturing the message that comes before the TV turns off.

Thanks & Regards

Are you sure that you haven't set some power saving mode? My Samsung let's me configure it to automatically switch off after a ser number of hours if there is no user interaction.

I got frustrated and returned the TV. I now have a Sony. Thanks for all the replays. Much appreciated. Had some good suggestions.
