Hi! I want to link my surrouns sound system up to my computer and have done it via a standard cable but as expected the sound was in stereo, i was wandering if there was a way i could make it 5:1 or surround, I have a unimodem, speddcom sound modem. Sorry i dont know its exact name but it does say its a full duplex audio device if that helps. Can anyone give me advice for software/drivers i can download or will I have to buy a surround-sound, sound card. Thanks

Full duplex means it can record and playback at the same time, it has nothing to do with surround.
You will need to purchase a sound card that can do suround audio. It will need to have a digital RCA connector or a optical coax connector for DTS and AC3 (Dolby 5.1) surround
