Hi, I bought a Panasonic Viera TV and managed after sometime to get it to recognise my Mybook network drive, photo's come up great, music in MP3 format is very good, but streaming video is a none starter, Panasonic recommend DivXX format for the films, so I put an old DVD in and converted to DivXX, the film started then just froze, yet if I drag a copy of the DVD onto the Mybook drive, it shows up in the drive as separate VTS.01.VOB, VTS.02.VOB etc, if I open one of these (part of the film), it works brilliantly streaming to the TV, I guess being the original format, however some avi and Mpeg formats although the TV says cannot be read start to work after about 10/15 minutes, but once again freeze up, I guess it has something to do with the refresh rate, but have never done this before and have not got a glue, is there anyway to get it to work similar to the original file, is there anyway of boosting the film stream process, or is there another conversion I can use, I understand that Apple TV works fine, but cannot afford to spend more money after having already spent a lot of money on the Panasonic dongle.
