You will need to get a modem from Cox to get Broadband. You will also need to setup internet service with them, you can't just plug in a router and expect it to work.

Thanks... I presently have the Broadband modem and hi-speed; just wanted to connect a tv from the same connection from the wall... What size splitter would I need?

If you are trying to split cable then you need a splitter that is matched to the frequencies and the impedance of the line.

Hang up and live.
