Sony VAIO laptop to TV

Hi

I have a sony Vaio FW21L model. I purchased a VGA to s-Video, + 3 wire(red yellow white) cable.

From VGA to red,yellow,white on TV connected I could nt see output on TV .

Am I missing something?

Are you sure you've got the TV on the correct setting? My TV has loads of External Inputs to choose from. If not, what graphics card are you using? Or is it just on-board graphics?

On TV I have the 3 slots for 3 wire(Red white yellow) into which I inserted.

The manual says Tv-Out is enabled on the laptop by default.

Its type is ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 3470
