Hi.
I have a problem. Ive justed changed my pc from an AMD64+3500 with intergrated graphics. To a p4 3ghz with an ATI 128mb 9200 card. This was ok on XP but as soon as i updated to vista it was unsupoported and kept causing BSOD. However it still recognised my lcd tv as a sharp digital monitor.
I took the ati card and replaced it with a new Nvidia FX5500pci card. Brilliant it works with vista. However it keeps saying that my monitor is a Non pnp monitor. I can get a screen of 1080 via selecting it as a secondary monitor and not the primary as this defaults it back to 680!!!!.
Ive lost all the settings i could alter.
I ran a prog called moninfo. I have it connected to the lcd VGA to VGA. The ati translated theVGA to XGA signal at the tv end but the nvidia card just pushes it through as a VGA signal?
Any Advice?? it wont even aloow to me to change it from an analogue to a digital tv via the control panel??
